CONFERENCE INFORMATION

United Youth Diplomatic Model United Nations (UYDMUN) is an international online Model United Nations conference created to bring together young delegates from around the world for meaningful debate, diplomacy, negotiation, and collaboration.

UYDMUN follows the structure of a traditional Model United Nations while maintaining an inclusive, interactive, and academically engaging environment. Delegates will represent their assigned countries, participate in formal debate, engage in moderated and unmoderated caucuses, negotiate with fellow delegates, draft resolutions, and work toward addressing pressing international issues.

As a fully online international conference, UYDMUN provides delegates with the opportunity to connect across borders, exchange perspectives, and develop valuable skills in public speaking, diplomacy, negotiation, research, and international relations.

The conference will feature three committees: DISEC, UNHRC, and UNESCO, each addressing important contemporary international issues. Delegates will be encouraged to research their agendas thoroughly, collaborate with fellow participants, and approach discussions from the perspective of their assigned country.

UYDMUN welcomes delegates of different experience levels and aims to create a supportive environment where participants can challenge ideas, build confidence, and gain practical experience in multilateral diplomacy.

More than a simulation, UYDMUN is a platform for young voices, international dialogue, and diplomacy across borders.

AWARDS

Delegates will have the opportunity to be recognized for their performance, diplomacy, preparation, and contribution throughout the conference.

Awards include:

1. Best Delegate
2. Outstanding Delegate
3. Honorable Mention
4. Verbal Mention 
5. Best Position Paper

The number and variety of awards may vary depending on committee capacity and participation.

Delegates who fulfill the 75% conference attendance and participation requirements will receive a Certificate of Participation.
