UGMUN 2026

Céad míle fáilte / a hundred thousand welcomes to the University of Galway Model United Nations 2026, Ireland's best (and only) university-level MUN conference, making its breakthrough debut in 2026!

Hosted on the edge of Europe in the beautiful city of Galway and run by its Literary and Debating Society, UGMUN 2026 is a 3-day conference taking place from February 19th-21st 2026. We are open to all levels of experience and expertise. Our conference offers a choice of six committees, additional plenary sessions, amazing social events, and the opportunity to experience a city whose culture, night life, and Guinness cannot be rivalled, meaning that there's something for everyone at UGMUN 2026!

We also run a Schools Edition, taking place from January 7th-9th 2026, that you can apply to chair at.
