Addressing labor rights violations and human exploitation in the fast fashion industry.

About the committee

This committee will investigate systemic labor abuses across global fast fashion supply chains, including unsafe working conditions, wage theft, child and forced labor, and the suppression of worker organizing. Delegates will evaluate the effectiveness of existing international frameworks such as ILO conventions and corporate social responsibility pledges and propose binding regulatory mechanisms, enhanced supply chain transparency requirements, and strategies to hold multinational corporations accountable for labor violations at the supplier level. The agenda calls for balancing economic interests with fundamental human rights protections in the global garment industry.
