Join us for an exciting year!
After a highly successful first year, Toronto Model United Nations is back!
Toronto Model United Nations offers high school and university students of all levels the opportunity to learn about global affairs in a dynamic and engaging manner; where individuals can look at the world and its shifting tides through a critical lens.
βModel UN provides students with an international focus, but there are still gaps in many students' knowledge as to the power and role of the various UN bodies and other international groups, like the Council of Europe or the World Trade Organization. It is TMUN's goal to ensure that students passionate about these subjects know more about these groups, their work, and most importantly, develop an international perspective necessary to succeed in an increasingly globalized world. TMUN hopes to give the leaders of tomorrow the knowledge that they need to truly become the leaders of tomorrow.
TMUN's second annual conference will be held on February 24, 2017 at Bayview Glen School in Toronto, Canada and will feature six unique committees.
Crisis: AD HOC, Historical Crisis, and Crisis in Venezuela. General Assembly: UN Security Council, UN Human Rights Council, and Regional Committee.
Applications open soon. Stay tuned for fees and updates!
