How will the debates happen?
TCMUN starts off with one full day of General Assembly debate, where all delegates sit together in a room as delegations representing their country. They will receive a detailed Crisis Portfolio, and have to work together to clarify their country's stance, lobby other delegations, and then debate towards a resolution. This full day of a more in-depth and advanced style of Crisis debate in a General Assembly is what truly sets TCMUN aside from other MUN conferences.
Then, of course, we have traditional committee sessions, which will happen on the third and fourth days of the conference, for a total of a day and a half of committee sessions. This is where delegations are split by committees and delegates debate their topics, form blocs, reach resolutions - all in all, the conventional MUN experience!
