Omnia iusta sunt Amore Belloque

Taylor’s Lakeside Model United Nations (TLMUN) Conference 2025

Date: 24th – 26th October 2025
Venue: Taylor’s Lakeside Campus
Participants: ~290 (200 delegates, 20 chairs, 20 observers, 10 guests, 40 secretariat members)

Taylor’s Lakeside Model United Nations (TLMUN) Conference is an annual convention that unites delegates from around the world. Each participant represents a country in a United Nations council or committee, working to solve pressing global issues through comprehensive resolutions.

Model United Nations is an educational simulation that conventionally extends up to three days. It seeks to familiarize delegates with the mechanisms of the United Nations in tackling crises, while honing skills in diplomacy, international relations, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

This year’s conference aims not only to provide a platform for high-quality debate and excellent learning experiences, but also to encourage delegates to recognize the crosswords humanity faces in 2025. Guided by our mission to empower the Malaysian MUN scene, TLMUN strives to confront pressing global challenges while ridding itself of deadweight in this beloved world of ours.

Our slogan, “Omnia iusta sunt Amore Belloque” (“All’s Fair in Love and War”), highlights the essence of politics and international relations. It reminds delegates that intense competition, strategic manoeuvring, and high-stakes diplomacy often push participants to bold, sometimes unconventional tactics. While extreme situations may compel actions beyond traditional boundaries, such actions are not always justified.

This event welcomes participants from institutions across Malaysia and around the world. Together, let us embrace diversity with open arms, engage in thoughtful and respectful dialogue, and promote peace, justice, and prosperity beyond the boundaries of nationality, ethnicity, and ideology.
