South Florida ModelUN 2026

SOFLOMUN is a low-cost, student-led Model United Nations pilot conference designed to increase access to high-quality MUN experiences for middle-school and high-school students in Broward County, Miami Dade, and surrounding communities. Capacity is limited to ensure educational quality, so the conference may be subject to ending registration early due to full capacity.

The conference will be taking place on October 9th, 10th, and 11th of 2026. This conference will contain three separate committees consisting of a Crisis, General Assembly, ADHOC, Specialized, and Bilingual committee. These are set to be revealed in the upcoming months. Background guides will be available shortly after with our provided Linktree. Delegate fees will be $20, and delegation fees will be $30. We encourage delegates from all over South Florida to attend, and utilize this opportunity to practice ModelUN at a low cost locally.

All staff and delegates will receive a certificate of participation along with any awards they receive throughout the conference. Delegates are eligible to receive the following awards in order of increasing prestige, Diplomatic Commendation , Honorable Mention, Outstanding Delegate, and Best Delegate.
