Bleeding Ink: Beyond What's Written

The Signature Model United Nations (SNMUN) 2025 is a dynamic
student-led conference, designed to inspire civic engagement, critical
thinking, and international cooperation. Founded by leading students
from Jordan and Palestine’s top academic institutions—including La
Salle College des Frères Beit Hanina Jerusalem, Asamiah International
School, Mashrek International School, and the National Orthodox
School—SNMUN is proud to be a platform that elevates youth voices
and leadership across the region. Taking place from June 26 to June
28, 2025, at the prestigious Signia by Hilton Hotel Amman, SNMUN expects to
welcome around 200 participants.

This year’s theme, “Bleeding Ink: Beyond What’s Written”, challenges
delegates to look past surface-level diplomacy and engage with the
deeper forces shaping global narratives—particularly those written,
erased, or rewritten by media, politics, and history. Through diverse
committees and simulations, participants will interrogate the role of
institutions and individuals in shaping the world’s understanding of
justice, power, and truth.

SNMUN 2025 is organized in partnership with the Arab Women Media
Center, a pioneering institution in media literacy, advocacy, and human
rights across the Arab world. We are especially honoured to host a
keynote speaker from the Center as part of our opening ceremony.
Under the leadership of Secretary-General Kareem Abdelali, SNMUN is
committed to providing an intellectually rigorous and globally relevant
MUN experience. From high-level debate to cultural exchange, the
conference promises a memorable journey of growth, empowerment,
and impact.
