Cultivating Global Leaders
Sorbonne Nouvelle Model United Nations 2025 β Cuban Missile Crisis Simulation
Step into history and diplomacy at the first edition of the Sorbonne Nouvelle Model United Nations (SNMUN)! This year, we invite delegates to explore one of the most tense moments of the Cold War: the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.
Over 13 days in October 1962, the world was on the brink of nuclear war as the United States discovered Soviet missiles in Cuba. This simulation allows you to step into the shoes of global leaders, allies, and neutral states navigating diplomacy, military tension, and humanitarian concerns to prevent catastrophe.
SNMUN 2025 is designed to combine learning and engagement, giving students the chance to develop skills in research, negotiation, public speaking, and teamwork. Beyond debate, itβs an opportunity to connect with fellow students in a dynamic, historically immersive environment.
Join us in bringing history to life and shaping your diplomatic skills at SNMUN 2025!
