Estimadas delegaciones del SevIMUN I Ed 2025:

Nos emociona darles la bienvenida a la primera edición del Seville International Model United Nations, un evento único organizado por el Club de Debate UPO de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla, con el apoyo del Consejo Social, Vicerrectorado de Estudiantes y Vicerrectorado de Internacionalización de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide, el Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud de la Junta de Andalucía, y de la Fundación MAS. 

Del 25 al 27 de abril de 2025, nuestra ciudad se transformará en el centro de debates vibrantes, ideas innovadoras y encuentros internacionales.

En esta edición contaremos con tres comités:

• Principiante (En Español): Contamos con el Consejo Europeo, para abordar la renovación de la política de seguridad y defensa de la Unión Europea y el replanteamiento de las relaciones entre la Unión Europea y el Estado de Israel.
• Intermedio (En Español): Pongan a prueba su capacidad de análisis y negociación en el comité de la UEFA – Unión de Federaciones Europeas de Fútbol para evaluar las candidaturas a la Eurocopa 2028 y la Eurocopa 2032 de la UEFA.
• Experto (En Inglés): Demuestren sus habilidades analíticas y de negociación en el comité de la NATO – North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, para profundizar alianzas Indo‑Pacífico y coordinar respuestas a la guerra híbrida.

Durante estos tres días, no solo pondrán a prueba sus habilidades de oratoria, negociación y trabajo en equipo, sino que también tendrán la oportunidad de crear lazos y amistades con compañeros de diversas culturas y trayectorias. Esta conferencia es DE PAGO. La cuota de inscripción es de 26 euros. La cuota no es reembolsable en caso de no poder asistir por cualquier causas que no sean relacionadas con la organización de la conferencia.

Dear future delegates of SevIMUN I Ed 2025:

We are thrilled to welcome you to the first edition of the Seville International Model United Nations, a unique event organized by the UPO Debate Club of Pablo de Olavide University of Seville, with the support of the Social Council, Vice-Rectorate for Students and Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation of the Pablo de Olavide University, the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud of the Junta de Andalucía, and the MAS Foundation. 

From April 25 to 27, 2025, our city will transform into the center of vibrant debates, innovative ideas, and international encounters.

We have designed three committees specially tailored for different levels of experience:

• Beginner (In Spanish): We have the Consejo Europeo to address the renewal of the European Union's security and defence policy and the rethinking of relations between the European Union and the State of Israel.
• Intermediate (In Spanish): Put your analytical and negotiating skills to the test at the UEFA – Unión de Federaciones Europeas de Fútbol committee to assess the bids for UEFA EURO 2028 and UEFA EURO 2032.
• Expert (In English): Demonstrate your analytical and negotiating skills in the NATO - North Atlantic Treaty Organisation committee to deepen Indo-Pacific alliances and coordinate responses to hybrid warfare.

During these three days, you will not only test your negotiation and teamwork skills, but you will also have the opportunity to forge bonds and friendships with peers from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This is a PAID conference. The application fee is 26 euros. The fee is non-refundable in case of non-attendance for any reason not related to the organisation of the conference.
