SCSMUN 2026

Alcyone 2026, hosted by Soundarya Central School (SCSMUN), is a Model United Nations conference bringing together delegates to debate the hardest questions in international law today, and to test their instincts far beyond it.

The flagship UNHRC committee tackles protecting human rights in grey zone and unrecognised territories, where sovereignty is contested, jurisdiction is murky, and every humanitarian decision carries political weight. Delegates will navigate crisis scenarios where aid, recognition, and accountability collide, and where there are no clean answers, only defensible positions.

For those who'd rather wield a paddle than a placard, the IPL committee drops delegates into the high-stakes world of cricket's biggest auction. Build your franchise, manage your purse, outbid your rivals, and prove that strategy under pressure isn't limited to the General Assembly floor.
