Rubicon Model United Nations (ROMUN)
Calling all future diplomats from Middle School and High School around the globe!
Are you passionate about global issues and eager to develop your skills in diplomacy and negotiation? ROMUN, the Rubicon Model United Nations, offers a dynamic platform for students in grades 7 and above to engage in a realistic simulation of the United Nations.
When and Where:
ROMUN will be held in Mumbai on November 2nd and 3rd.
Sharpen Your Skills:
ROMUN caters to students of all experience levels, providing a supportive environment to learn and grow. Delegates will have the opportunity to:
- Research assigned countries and their positions on global issues.
- Develop strong public speaking and negotiation skills.
- Collaborate with peers from around the world to craft solutions.
- Gain valuable experience through a training session led by experienced MUNers.
Committee Choices:
Delegates can choose from a range of committees, including two UN bodies and a unique Indian committee. The specific committees will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
Recognition for Excellence:
Outstanding delegates will be recognized for their performance. Awards include Best Delegate, High Commendation, and Special Mention, all accompanied by cash prizes and trophies.
Building Connections:
Beyond committees, ROMUN offers a chance to build friendships and celebrate cultural diversity. The conference kicks off with a fun dance party on the first day, providing a relaxed space for delegates to connect.
