RNSMUN 2026

RNS MUN 2026 is a two-day Model United Nations conference organised by the RNSIT MUN Society at RNS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, India on 6th and 7th October 2026.

With an overall Prize Pool of ₹1,00,000+, the conference brings together students from diverse academic backgrounds to engage in structured debate, diplomacy, negotiation, research and policy-making. Delegates will be placed in simulated international and parliamentary forums, where they will represent countries, political representatives or media organisations and deliberate on contemporary issues of international and national significance.

• Eligibility

Participation is open to students currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at a recognised college or university.

School students are not eligible to participate.

Participants must be enrolled in their programme at the time of registration.

Institutional Delegation (Group Registration) enables the registered group to qualify for the

“Best Delegation" award subject to performance.

Institutional Delegation (Group Registration) should contain a minimum of 9 delegates, with at least 1 delegate in each committee; maximum strength being 18 delegates.

• The Conference Experience

RNS MUN 2026 is designed to go beyond conventional classroom learning by encouraging delegates to research independently, articulate informed positions, negotiate with opposing perspectives and work collaboratively towards solutions.

The conference will provide opportunities for participants to develop public speaking, critical thinking, diplomacy, leadership, writing and decision-making skills in a competitive yet collaborative environment.

With a diverse set of committees spanning international security, human rights, disarmament, organised crime, Indian parliamentary affairs and journalism, RNS MUN 2026 aims to offer a comprehensive and engaging Model United Nations experience.
