QSIZMUN 2025

QSI Zhuhai is pleased to invite you to QSI Zhuhai Model United Nations, the first Model United Nations event in Zhuhai from the 31st of May to the 1st of June 2025. It is directed towards students 12YO and up. As an MUN event, it will give participants the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of diplomats at international organizations and jointly formulate solutions to real-world problems in a 2-day conference.  

It will also help the delegates develop their public speaking, group cooperation and other social skills in addition to letting them address global crises using knowledge of the historical and current global situation.  

We offer two committees: a Historical League of Nations Council meeting addressing the geopolitical situation in the 1930s and a modern United Nations General Assembly conference. The historical committee will especially allow participants to bring their scholarly historical knowledge to life by letting history happen their way. Both committees will be held in English. 

The participation fee is 350 RMB per delegate and should be paid by the 15th of May, 2025 (the payment details will be provided to the registered participants). Chaperones attend the event for free. Lunch and dinner for both chaperones and delegates will be offered by the school and are included in the fees. 

This year the QSI Zhuhai MUN will be held at our school building, which is located at 2 Shuiwantou West Street, Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai. Hotels of different price ranges are available nearby within walking distance of the event location (the list of suggested hotels will be provided to the registered participants). The participants and chaperones should take care of their own accommodation (not included in the participation fee) and Chinese visa acquisition, if necessary.
