PACMUN 2026

About Us

PACMUN’s mission is to spread awareness of the United Nations, to motivate students to become more actively involved in local and global affairs, and to inspire students to change the world.

PACMUN was founded to empower student leaders in the community. PACMUN started as a collaborative effort between delegates from Tacoma, Kent, Bellevue, Issaquah, and Seattle. The Secretariat and staff consist completely of high-school students, who have both the drive and the experience to make PACMUN an amazing conference. PACMUN began as a student run conference in 2014.

The idea was conceived by seven extraordinary students to make a universally accessible MUN conference to all students in the Pacific Northwest. PACMUN is the first student-run conference in Washington State, and in its inaugural year, it became the largest conference in the state. The conference has grown since then, with the leadership of new Secretariats and the guidance from years past.

Registration

Before registering, please review our Registration Guidelines and contact our Delegate Affairs team at delegateaffairs@pacificmun.com with any questions. To register for PACMUN 2026 as an independent delegate or as part of your school's delegation, please visit pacificmun.com/registration to begin the registration process.

If you are seeking financial aid: Do not register using the standard Delegate Registration Form. Instead, please reference the Financial Aid page on our website.

Conference

PACMUN 2026 will be held in-person at the Sheraton Grand Seattle in the heart of downtown Seattle. The Sheraton Grand Seattle is an AAA Four Diamond award winning hotel, acclaimed for its great service, luxurious rooms and amenities, and excellent location. Delegates will be roomed in single-sex, quad-occupancy rooms. Delegates will find the Sheraton fully equipped to support diplomacy and debate in its state-of-the-art meeting facilities. The Sheraton is ideally located in the center of Seattle in walking distance of many of Seattle’s best activities, attractions, and restaurants.
