Building a new consensus

Oxford International Model United Nations (OxIMUN) is one of Europe's most prestigious Model United Nations conferences, held in Oxford. It hosts delegates from around the world, who come together to engage in productive debate about pressing global issues.

It is an extremely unique academically challenging and a culturally enriching event that takes place over three days that are filled with fascinating committee sessions and fun socials.

Organised by the students of the University of Oxford on behalf of the Oxford University United Nations Association (OxUNA), its roots can be traced back to model debates of the League of Nations, which took place in Oxford as early as 1921. OxIMUN 2026 marks the 22nd edition of the modern-day conference and it will be held in Michaelmas Term 2026.
