Orbis 2026

Orbis Summit 2026 | One World, Endless Possibilities

Orbis Summit 2026 is a youth-led Model United Nations conference taking place from 23–25 October 2026 at Mayoor International School, Siliguri. Bringing together students with an interest in international affairs, public policy, and diplomacy, Orbis offers a platform to debate global challenges, exchange perspectives, and develop practical solutions through dialogue.

Founded and led by Jeevan Chhetri, Founder and Conference Director, Orbis is built on the belief that young people should actively engage with the issues shaping their future. The summit places learning at the centre of its approach, encouraging delegates to strengthen their research, public speaking, negotiation, and leadership skills while participating in healthy competition.

With an anticipated 200+ delegates, 12+ simulations, and participation from over 10 institutions, Orbis brings together a diverse community of aspiring diplomats, policymakers, journalists, and changemakers. Its committee programme spans United Nations bodies, regional organisations, and Indian parliamentary forums. Simulations include UNHRC, UNCSW, UNGA DISEC, UNSC, and AIPPM, alongside an International Press Corps offering opportunities in journalism, photography, and caricature.

Whether attending a first conference or building on previous MUN experience, delegates can expect substantive discussions, collaborative resolution drafting, and opportunities to examine complex questions from different national and political perspectives. The conference encourages informed participation, respectful disagreement, and meaningful engagement beyond prepared speeches.

Beyond committee sessions, Orbis offers opportunities to connect with students from other institutions and build lasting friendships. The experience includes organised socials at Four Vedas, bringing delegates together in a more informal setting after committee proceedings.

Guided by its tagline, “One World, Endless Possibilities,” Orbis Summit 2026 invites participants to approach diplomacy with curiosity, responsibility, and ambition. Across three days, the summit aims to turn an interest in world affairs into greater confidence, deeper understanding, and the ability to collaborate across differences, skills that extend well beyond the committee room.
