Diplomacy for responsible technological collaboration

Half a decade after the last edition of TweMUN, Honours Association Ockham is bringing Model United Nations back to the University of Twente to celebrate the 3rd lustrum of Honours associations in the Netherlands!

On June 7-8, 2025,OckMUN, a 2-day UN4MUN-style Model United Nations will bring together 150 top students from around the Netherlands. This year's theme focuses on international technological collaboration for time travel, presenting unique challenges and opportunities for debate and diplomacy.

Delegate count: 15 Theme: The Security Council will focus on the security implications of time travel technology, addressing the challenges of maintaining international peace and security in the face of rapid technological advancement and the potential for its misuse.

Delegate count: 30 Theme: ECOSOC will examine the economic and social impacts of time travel, including its effects on trade, sustainable development, and resource allocation.

Delegate count: 25 Theme: The Human Rights Council will delve into the ethical and human rights considerations of time travel, addressing issues such as the protection of timelines and the potential for exploitation or discrimination.
