Europe's premier crisis MUN conference
Since its inception, the London School of Economics Model United Nations Conference (LSEMUN) has established itself as the pioneer of crisis within the European circuit. This year will be no different. Convening for its 18th session this coming February, LSEMUN offers an innovative approach to the central theme "Empowering Today: Pioneering a Sustainable Tomorrow". We aim to provide you with your most formative conference experience yet.
Academics - We do things differently. We only do crisis, and we invite you to join us. With seven committees of varying difficulties that explore diverse geographical, temporal, and thematic settings, this year's conference has made sure to give every type of delegate the opportunity to engage with the systems that shape our history, present, and future. Each committee is unprecedented, from three-cabinets to an 'ad hoc' to the House of Commons.
Socials - We are proud to present the highest-calibre social package on the circuit. Friday hosts a cocktail reception with live music in the most historic venue of the greatest social sciences university in the world, the Shaw Library. On Saturday, we showcase our flagship boat party on the Thames, in the stunning backdrop of night-time views of London greatest landmarks.
Guest Speakers - The opening ceremony and the iconic diplomatic panel will feature the most pre-eminent diplomats discussing trade, sustainability, and geopolitics in line with the conference's aim of carbon net zero.
