About the committee

The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) aims to promote sustainable development through its economic, social and environmental aspects. As members of one of the 6 principal organs of the UN, delegates in this committee will have to work through the challenges of formulating worldwide policies policies that encourage global economic and social progress

About the committee

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is the first committee of the UN's General Assembly. It aims to preserve and ensure international peace and security by working on global disarmament agreements and dealing with threats to international security. In a fastly rearming world, delegates in this committee will have to thread carefully to avoid a new arms race

About the committee

The European Council is the EU institution that defines the general political direction and priorities of the European Union. It is composed of the heads of state or government of the EU member states, the President of the European Council, and the President of the European Commission. In KentMUN 2023, delegates will be given the opportunity to discuss the contemporary urgencies the world and precisely the European Union faces and how those urgencies will affect its construction

About the committee

In this Crisis Committee, delegates will be able to dive into the universe of James Cameron's Avatar movies. Take part in either the Forest or Water Tribe of the Na'Vi alien species, or enlist in the RDA : the evil organisation comming to exploit their ressources and destroy their planet. As the Crisis developps, unexpected alliances may arise due to the extreme circumstances : Will the Na'Vi make a united front against their powerfull agressors, or will one of them take advantage of the situation to save themselves and assert dominance over their rival tribe?
