IYOMUN 2026

Greetings International Delegates,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the International Youth Model United Nations Conference (IYMUN) 2026, to be held online on 10 January 2026.

IYMUN is a youth-led international conference designed to provide accessible, high-quality diplomatic simulation to students across the world, regardless of background or geography. Our goal is to create a serious yet inclusive space where young people can engage in global dialogue, debate pressing international issues, and work collaboratively toward realistic solutions.

This edition of IYMUN brings together delegates from diverse nations, cultures, and perspectives to engage in structured debate guided by formal Rules of Procedure. Whether you are a first-time delegate or an experienced participant, IYMUN offers an environment that values preparation, critical thinking, and respectful diplomacy.

Committees

For IYMUN 2026, delegates may apply to one of the following committees:

United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) – Beginner to Intermediate

Agenda: Addressing Human Rights Violations Amid Armed Conflict and Political Instability in Sudan

Delegates will represent UN member states to discuss global challenges related to Political Instability in sudan and humanitarian crisis 

Delegates will assume leadership roles of states and key actors in an intensified global security environment, responding dynamically to evolving crises.

Awards

Each committee will present the following awards:

Best Delegate – 1

Outstanding Delegate – 1

Best Research & Preparation – 1

Please note: Submission of a position paper is strongly encouraged for award consideration. Delegates are expected to conduct thorough research and be familiar with the standard Model United Nations Rules of Procedure.

Official Rules of Procedure will be shared prior to the conference.

Delegates are encouraged to prepare position papers and opening speeches in advance.
