Why Attend ISMUN 2027?
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the International Slovak Model United Nations (ISMUN 2027), taking place in September, in the historical university city of Trnava, Slovakia.
ISMUN was founded to bridge a long-standing gap in Central Europe: establishing a premier, recurring university-level Model UN conference based in Slovakia. Hosted in close collaboration with the University of Trnava, ISMUN offers university students and young leaders an immersive platform to practice practical diplomacy, complex international negotiations, public parliamentary debate, and consensus-building.
Bridging Theory and Practice: Move beyond textbook political science and international law. Analyze pressing geopolitical challenges in real time alongside passionate peers from across the Visegrad (V4) region and beyond.
Academic Rigor: Benefit from meticulously researched Study Guides reviewed by academic faculty, ensuring high-level debate and authentic procedural dynamics.
V4 Cross-Border Networking: Connect with over 150 university delegates, committee chairs, guest diplomats, and policy experts across Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Hungary, and international institutions.
