Welcome to the FIRST edition of HealMUN 🎉
This year, HealMUN invites you to explore what it would mean to recognize contraception as a universal human right, and how states and international actors should respond to the challenges surrounding reproductive health. Should governments provide contraception free of charge, and if so, under what conditions? How far should cultural and religious differences influence decision-making on such a fundamental issue? Should minors be able to access contraception without parental consent, and how can healthcare systems ensure safe, informed, and equitable care for all?
As students based in Lyon, we aim to bring health issues into global debate.
At HealMUN, we promote a multidisciplinary approach. Welcoming debate, contrasting perspectives, and discussions that confront human health with legal and ethical dilemmas. We are open to everyone, and our team reflects that diversity, with backgrounds ranging from law to medicine.
Join us, share your opinions, and help shape tomorrow’s vision on contraception
