GVMUNC VIII 2025

Greetings international delegates,

Welcome to the eighth Global Virtual Model United Nations Conference (GVMUNC), hosted on June 21st, and based in Bridgewater, New Jersey! Join us for the day as we introduce ideas, debate solutions, and finally implement resolutions. Participate in a growing international committee of diplomacy and discussion, and prove your skills as a Model UN delegate.

For this iteration, GVMUN is offering delegates the option between two different committees, ranging from beginner to advanced. They are as follows:

1. Interpol - Beginner -  Delegates in this committee will represent all UN member states, and will debate preventing wildlife poaching and trafficking, as well as cracking down on international money laundering networks.
2. Historical Crisis Committee (HCC) - Advanced - This committee is set in the year 1998, and delegates will assume control over the nations of the world at the time, during the crisis of the Great War of Africa.

Each committee will have three awards, as follows:

• Best Delegate - 1
• Outstanding Delegate - 1
• Best Research and Preparation - 1

Note that a position paper, while not required, is strongly suggested for award eligibility. Delegates must research their topic thoroughly, starting with the provided topic briefs, and prepare for the committee.
