GVMUNC VII 2025

Greetings international delegates,

Welcome to the seventh Global Virtual Model United Nations Conference (GVMUNC), hosted on April 26th, and based in Bridgewater, New Jersey! Join us for the day as we introduce ideas, debate solutions, and finally implement resolutions. Participate in a growing international committee of diplomacy and discussion, and prove your skills as a Model UN delegate.

For this iteration, GVMUN is offering delegates the option between two different committees, ranging from beginner to advanced. They are as follows:

1. United Nations Legal Committee (GA 6th Assembly) - Beginner -  Delegates in this committee will represent all UN member states, and will debate holding multinational companies accountable, and addressing corruption in international governmental bodies.
2. Historical Crisis Committee (HCC) - Advanced - This committee is set in the year 1956, and delegates will take the roles of national leaders across the world in the aftermath of Egypt's nationalization of the Suez Canal, commonly known as the Suez Crisis.

Each committee will have five awards, as follows:

• Best Delegate - 1
• Outstanding Delegate - 1
• Best Research and Preparation - 1

Note that a position paper, while not required, is strongly suggested for award eligibility. Delegates must research their topic thoroughly, starting with the provided topic briefs, and prepare for the committee.
