UNHCR is one organization at the forefront of addressing these challenges is the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The UNHCR was established in 1950 with the primary mission of protecting the rights and well-being of refugees. It strives to ensure that everyone has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another country. With over 70 million people forcibly displaced due to conflict, persecution, and natural disasters, the UNHCR's work is more vital than ever. As part of our agenda, we will focus on devising measures to provide hygienic refugee camps. Access to clean water, sanitation, and proper hygiene facilities is fundamental to safeguarding the health and dignity of displaced individuals. Inadequate living conditions can lead to the spread of diseases, exacerbating the vulnerabilities faced by refugees, especially women, children, and the elderly. In our discussions, we will explore innovative solutions and best practices that can be implemented in refugee camps to ensure that they are not only safe havens but also environments that promote health and well-being. Our collective efforts can contribute to creating a more humane and dignified experience for those who have been uprooted from their homes.
