New Generation of Model UN

GIOMUN 2026

Global International Online Model United Nations

GIOMUN is an international online Model United Nations conference bringing together delegates from different countries to participate in a structured simulation of multilateral diplomacy.

The conference provides participants with an opportunity to represent UN Member States, examine international issues, exchange perspectives, negotiate with other delegations, and work collectively toward the adoption of resolutions.

CONFERENCE FORMAT

GIOMUN is conducted entirely online, allowing delegates to participate regardless of their geographical location.

The conference follows established Model United Nations procedures while adapting them to an accessible and dynamic digital environment.

Throughout the sessions, delegates will:

  • represent their assigned countries;
  • deliver opening and policy speeches;
  • participate in formal debate;
  • negotiate during unmoderated caucuses;
  • establish working blocs and partnerships;
  • draft and introduce resolutions;
  • propose amendments;
  • defend their positions;
  • vote on final documents.

COMMITTEES

Each committee focuses on a specific international issue requiring diplomatic discussion and cooperation.

Delegates are expected to approach the agenda from the perspective of their assigned country rather than from their personal opinions.

This allows participants to experience one of the fundamental principles of international diplomacy: representing national interests while searching for international consensus.

PARTICIPANTS

GIOMUN welcomes students and young people interested in:

International Relations · Diplomacy · Politics · Law · Global Affairs · Public Speaking · Leadership

Previous MUN experience is welcome, but not required. Delegates are expected to demonstrate preparation, active participation, respect for other delegations, and a willingness to engage in constructive diplomatic dialogue.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of GIOMUN is to create an international platform where young people can develop practical skills in diplomacy and international communication.

The conference encourages participants to think critically, understand perspectives different from their own, negotiate under pressure, and develop solutions to complex international challenges.

GIOMUN is ultimately built around one principle:

One generation.
Many perspectives.
One global community.
