Apply for a seat at the table: Bringing MUN and AI together
In 2016, responding to the UN General Assembly’s call for collaborative partnerships towards sustainable development for all, the University of Geneva launched the Geneva Trialogue : a one-day event gathering academic, private sector and multilateral stakeholders to discuss open knowledge and learning tools, platforms and initiatives for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 6th edition of the Geneva Trialogue will be held on 31st May 2024 and will continue to build on the “Open innovation for education” theme that was first adopted in 2022. It will take place on 31 May at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). A unique and practical approach will characterize this year‘s Trialogue. The focus is on the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support Model United Nations (MUN) events. By exploring the impact of AI within this context, we unlock invaluable insights into how technology will reshape our global institutions.
This is your chance to shape the future by gaining one of the limited spots through the highly selective application procedure!
The event is co-organized by UNITAR, the University of Geneva, ITU, the Canton of Geneva, and mymun. In addition, various other highly prestigious representatives of governmental and private organizations will be present.
Note: Participants have to provide their own funding for accommodation and transport to the event. This is not a MUN conference but rather a discussion forum on how we can use AI to improve MUN conferences.
