FMDPOLMUN 2026

Welcome to FMDPOLMUN 2026 – Academic Polish Model United Nations, a new chapter in the history of one of Poland's oldest and most established Model United Nations conferences, with a tradition dating back to 1992!

This year, FMDPOLMUN is jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Student Society at SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the Forum Młodych Dyplomatów (Young Diplomats Forum). Bringing together two organizations dedicated to international affairs, diplomacy, and the development of future leaders, this partnership marks an exciting new chapter in the conference's history.

What makes FMDPOLMUN unique? Its distinctly academic and student-driven character.

While many Model United Nations conferences primarily cater to high school students, FMDPOLMUN builds upon a longstanding tradition of university-level diplomatic simulations. We believe that Model United Nations should not end with high school. Instead, it should continue to offer university students opportunities to deepen their understanding of international relations, challenge their perspectives, and develop the skills essential to diplomacy and international cooperation.

FMDPOLMUN 2026 aims to bring this academic tradition to the forefront. Our ambition is to create an intellectually stimulating environment where university students, alongside ambitious high school delegates aged 16 and above, can engage in meaningful debate, complex negotiations, and collaborative problem-solving. Whether you are an experienced MUN delegate or attending your first conference, FMDPOLMUN offers an opportunity to experience diplomacy in action.

Throughout the conference, delegates will represent countries in committees inspired by real-world international institutions, tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing the international community. Beyond formal debates, FMDPOLMUN is also an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, build lasting friendships, and become part of a community passionate about global affairs.

Our conference will take place at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, one of Poland's leading academic institutions, located in Warsaw – a city at the crossroads of European history, politics, and diplomacy.
