Uniting Horizons: Cultivating Global Harmony through Diplomatic Dialogue

It is with great pleasure that we present the inaugural edition of the France Model United Nations (EDSMUN), scheduled from June 24th to 27th, 2024. EDSMUN is an initiative by the Egyptian Diplomatic Society (EDS), designed to enhance diplomatic engagement in Egypt by promoting international cooperation and instilling the values of the United Nations in young people. This event marks the first comprehensive representation of all Egyptian MUNs, making it the premier international MUN to showcase Egyptian debate values.

The theme for our conference, "Uniting Horizons: Cultivating Global Harmony through Diplomatic Dialogue," emphasizes transcending physical, political, and cultural boundaries to foster global collaboration. By building bridges between nations, we aim to work collectively towards shared objectives. Our dedicated teams are committed to providing academic excellence and, most importantly, diversity. EDSMUN will welcome delegates from across the globe, encouraging cultural appreciation and mutual understanding.

For its debut, EDSMUN sets a high standard by accommodating 200 delegates across 7 diverse and engaging committees. The conference promises enriching debates, insightful sessions led by distinguished speakers, and spectacular events, ensuring an unforgettable experience over the four days.

We envision EDSMUN24 as a significant step towards creating a more inclusive, multilateral, and sustainable world, shaped by the contributions of every delegate for years to come.
