Strengthening the Women, Peace and Security Agenda through Gender-Responsive Disaster Risk Reduction

    About the committee

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations and is responsible for maintaining international peace and security. Recognizing that sustainable peace and resilience require inclusive leadership, delegates will develop innovative and action-oriented policy recommendations to strengthen women's participation in peacebuilding, disaster preparedness, crisis response, and post-conflict recovery.
