About

⚡ THE DEMIGOD WORLD MODEL UNITED NATIONS (DWMUN) 🔱

Where Diplomacy Meets Mythology.

The mortal world is fracturing, ancient forces are stirring in Tartarus, and the stability of Mount Olympus hangs by a thread. The gods are divided, the demigods are preparing for war, and standard human diplomacy simply won’t cut it.

Welcome to the inaugural session of DWMUN—the ultimate Model United Nations experience set entirely within the universe of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & the Olympians. We are bringing together delegates from around the globe to navigate realpolitik, crisis management, and divine statecraft across three custom-tailored academic tracks:

  • 🟢 MIDDLE SCHOOL | Beginner Track: The Camp Half-Blood Counselor Council. Take your place as a Cabin Counselor (Annabeth, Percy, Clarisse) to resolve camp resource disputes and organize defensive frontiers against monster incursions. Perfect for first-time delegates looking for high-action, structured debate!
  • 🔵 HIGH SCHOOL | Intermediate Track: The Mount Olympus Olympian Assembly. Step into the shoes of the Major and Minor Deities (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena). Balance immortal egos, draft cross-border treaties for mythological beasts, and manage global panics without destroying the mortal realm.
  • 🔴 UNIVERSITY | Advanced Track: The Titan-Olympian Split-Cabinet Crisis. A fast-paced, multi-room Joint Crisis Committee (JCC). Command the defensive ranks of Chiron's Ministry of War, or plot the overthrow of the divine establishment from the vanguard of Kronos' Fortress at Mount Othrys. Hidden portfolios, backchannels, and rapid narrative updates await.

    About the committee

    1. What the Delegates Actually Debate Instead of boring resolutions, the debate focuses on direct wartime strategy and political survival: • The Fate of Manhattan: They must debate whether to use ancient magic to put the entire population of New York City to sleep to fight the war in secret, or drop the magical veil (The Mist) and let humanity see the monsters, forcing humans to fight alongside them. • The Divine Accord: The minor gods and demigods are actively switching sides to join the Titans because they feel abandoned by the major Olympians. The council must debate a new political treaty: Will the major gods share their power and thrones to keep their loyalty, or will Kronos offer a better deal? • The Ultimate Traitor: Someone in the room is a spy leaking tactical secrets to the enemy cabinet. Delegates must debate and interrogate each other mid-session to root out the traitor before Olympus falls. 2. Why This Committee is Worth It (The Selling Points) • 🔥 The "God vs. Demigod" Power Dynamic: University and high school students playing Gods or Titans hold massive kinetic powers (like throwing lightning bolts or summoning earthquakes) but middle schoolers playing Demigods hold the actual voting power on tactical ground decisions. This levels the playing field perfectly. Advanced delegates can't just talk over the younger ones—they have to actively bribe, protect, and negotiate with the demigods to win the vote. • 🎭 Unpredictable Crisis Backchannels: Instead of just speaking in a traditional speaker's list, delegates can write secret "Action Notes" to the staff. Grover Underwood can secretly send a satyr spy network to sabotage a Titan camp, while Luke Castellan can secretly try to poison the camp's strawberry fields. The room changes every 30 minutes based on these secret actions. • 💎 Complete Freedom of Roleplay: It breaks the stiff, corporate mold of standard MUN. Delegates are encouraged to fully adopt the massive egos, rivalries, and personalities of their characters. It combines the structured debate of a real UN session with the intense, creative storytelling of an RPG or Dungeons & Dragons game.
