About

Where Diplomacy Meets Determination

Chanakya International Model United Nations is a conference dedicated to fostering diplomatic discourse, critical thinking, international cooperation and meaningful deliberation on pressing global challenges.

Bringing together aspiring diplomats, intellectuals and future leaders, this conference aims to provide delegates with an opportunity to engage in rigorous debate, challenge perspectives, negotiate solutions and understand the complexities of international relations.

Featuring two distinguished committees, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), Chanakya International MUN seeks to address some of the most pressing challenges confronting the international community.

COMMITTEES & AGENDAS:

1. UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL (UNSC)

Agenda: Deliberation on the Escalating Conflict in Sudan, Addressing the Humanitarian Catastrophe, Threats to Regional Stability and the Role of External Actors in Prolonging the Crisis.

2. UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL (UNHRC)

Agenda: Deliberation on Safeguarding Freedom of Expression and Ensuring the Protection of Journalists, Whistleblowers and Human Rights Defenders Against State Persecution, Digital Surveillance and Transnational Repression.

At Chanakya International MUN, delegates will be encouraged to move beyond conventional arguments, engage with complex geopolitical realities and formulate informed, constructive and actionable solutions.

Because diplomacy is not merely about representing nations; it is about shaping the world through dialogue, responsibility and leadership.
