CIMUN VII brings together passionate young delegates from schools across the globe and beyond to engage in meaningful discussions on global challenges shaping our world today. Under the theme “Revisiting a Shared Legacy,” this year’s conference invites students to examine the values of peace, cooperation, and security in a time of growing international division.
Delegates will participate in rigorous academic debate through four committees, each addressing contemporary issues aligned with their level of experience:
Middle School Committees
- UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council)
- Eradicating Child Labor in Global Supply Chains
- Mitigating the Impact of Neocolonialism on Human Rights in Developing Nations
- IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)
- Assessing the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Strengthening Nuclear Security and Safeguards
- Drafting Regulations for Increased Efficiency and Safety of Radioactive Materials
Mixed Committee
- ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council)
- Promoting Urban Development and Affordable Housing
- Addressing Youth Unemployment in Developing and Developed Economies
High School Committee
- DISEC (Disarmament and Security Council)
- Regulating Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems in Conflict Zones and Terrorism
- Addressing the Emergence of Small Drone Warfare
Delegates are required to submit position papers prior to the conference.
Registration Information:
- Registration for individual delegations is currently open, with a participation fee of 30,000 KRW per delegate. Once the registration form is submitted, schools will receive further details about payment and country allocation.
