Belgrade Diplomacy & Business Conference is an expanded international, charitable conference that brings together two distinct yet complementary pillars: a Model United Nations simulation and a Business Simulation, both taking place within a single, unified event. Scheduled for May 2026, the conference is designed to broaden its reach and impact by offering participants the opportunity to engage with global affairs from both diplomatic and economic perspectives. Running alongside it, the Business Simulation component provides a separate, practice-oriented environment focused on strategy, leadership, and economic decision-making. Participants take on the roles of executives, entrepreneurs, or corporate teams, competing and cooperating in a simulated market setting shaped by regulation, competition, and uncertainty. This part of the conference emphasizes strategic thinking, financial literacy, risk management, and teamwork, mirroring challenges faced in real-world business environments.
The Model United Nations (MUN) component follows the traditional structure of diplomatic simulation, where participants represent countries, debate international issues, negotiate resolutions, and navigate multilateral decision-making processes. Emphasis is placed on diplomacy, international law, public speaking, and consensus-building, allowing delegates to experience firsthand the complexities of global governance and political negotiation.
While the two simulations are clearly divided in structure and activities, they are united by a shared vision: to demonstrate how diplomacy and business together shape the modern world. Joint sessions, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities connect participants from both tracks, encouraging dialogue across disciplines and highlighting the real-world interaction between political decisions and economic outcomes. This expanded format allows attendees to specialize in one area while gaining exposure to the other, significantly widening the conference's educational and professional scope.
