A Conference as Unique as the Seas • Let's Have Fun

Anatolian Maritime Model United Nations (AMMUN) is a premier, concept-driven diplomatic simulation that bridges the gap between traditional geopolitics and the critical world of global maritime law. Hosted by the Founder of VSMUN , AMMUN offers an intellectually rigorous environment where history, law, and shipping routes collide.

Set against the backdrop of Anatolia—a historic bridge between continents and a critical hub for global waterways—this conference challenges delegates to step into the shoes of international diplomats, maritime authorities, and legal experts. Unlike standard simulations, AMMUN focuses deeply on the lifelines of global trade, environmental protections of our oceans, and naval diplomacy in conflict-prone corridors.

Whether navigating the strict legal frameworks of the Montreux Convention, drafting safety protocols for strategic chokepoints, or debating the economic impacts of green maritime mandates, delegates will experience high-stakes crisis management and strategic alliance-building. Guided by academic excellence and a unique thematic focus, AMMUN 2026 invites beginner and experienced delegates alike to chart new courses in international diplomacy and shape the future of global waters.

Our main purpose is to have fun. You can troll during this conference unless you do not offend, direspect or interrupt anyone and stop when said so. (In case you do not rules, your penalty is elimination of your certificate and being kicked out of the session.)

Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors. Welcome to AMMUN.
