CONNECTION FOR EVERYONE AND FOREVER
∞ —————————————— ∞
→ AFMUN I is a Model United Nations conference created by Address Forever.
Address Forever is a platform dedicated to preserving the memory of loved ones and helping people tell, share and preserve life stories for future generations. From digital memorials and resting places to personal life stories, its mission is built around one simple but incredibly important idea:
→ People should not disappear from history just because their lives are no longer being lived.

THE COMMITTEES
🏛️ UNESCO — Addressing Inequalities in Historical Memory and Preserving the Stories of Ordinary People
Open a history textbook. You will probably find…→ Presidents. Kings. Generals.
But what about the teacher who lived through that war?
The child who had to leave their home?
Not everyone who makes history gets remembered by it.
UNESCO will ask delegates:
→ How can countries preserve the stories of ordinary people?
→ Should governments be responsible for collecting and protecting personal histories?
→ How can museums, schools and digital archives make historical memory more inclusive?
⚖️ UNHRC — Preserving the Stories of Victims of Mass Atrocities and Human Rights Violations
History is often written through dates, battles and political decisions.
But behind every statistic are people.
Wars, genocides, ethnic violence, forced displacement and other mass atrocities can leave millions of victims behind. Yet with time, their individual stories can disappear, replaced by numbers, simplified narratives or political interpretations.
UNHRC will ask delegates:
→ How can governments and international organizations preserve testimonies?
→ How should the international community protect archives, photographs, oral histories and personal accounts?
→ How can we prevent victims' stories from being erased, distorted or exploited for political purposes?
🛡️DISEC — Preventing the Use of Generative AI and Deepfakes to Manipulate Historical Memory
Imagine finding a video of a historical figure saying something they never said. A photograph of an event that was completely generated by AI. And imagine millions of people believing it.
This is no longer science fiction.
Generative AI and deepfake technology are making it increasingly difficult to distinguish authentic historical material from fabricated content.
DISEC will ask delegates:
→ Should governments regulate AI-generated historical content?
→ Should platforms be required to label deepfakes?
→ Who should determine whether a historical reconstruction is acceptable?
