Ensure you understand your country's role in the topic and have some statistics to back it up! Having some key facts and figures available will help you sound authoritative in any situation.

First impressions matter. Your opening speech introduces your country's position, so make it impactful and memorable.

Additionally, ensure you have a copy of your position paper uploaded to mymun or MUN Command so you can share it with other delegates if you would like!

Staying organized is your best friend at a Model UN conference, and your binder is the perfect tool. Check the conference tech policy: Going paperless is better for the environment, is lighter on your back, and allows you to search for information faster.

Have your research sections pre-organized and additional space for collecting notes and resolution drafts.

Two (or more) heads are always better than one. Before the conference, run through your plans and speeches with team members.

Share ideas strategies, and critique each other constructively. It's not just about refining your performance but also about building a supportive MUN community.
