It gives us immense pleasure to invite your institution to the **Fifth Edition** of **HLCC Model United Nations 2017-18** scheduled to take place on **11TH, 12th and 13th of August 2017** at **H L College of Commerce, Ahmedabad.** We would also like to inform you that the conference will strictly be following the UN4MUN procedure which is the MUN rules of procedure specified by UNITED NATIONS CENTER. We, hence, are the only conference in the state and one of the few in the country to strictly adhere to this procedure. Carrying forward the legacy of success and diplomacy, HLCC MUN 2017-18 continues its journey this year with seven most thrilling committees being simulated with their respective agendas: **1.United Nations Environment Program(UNEP):** Affordable and scalable solutions to combat climate change **2.European Union (EU):** Fair settlement of the UK’s rights and obligations as a Departing member **3.The Economic and Finance Committee (ECOFIN):** Currency Wars **4.General Assembly (GA):** Prevention of cross border terrorism **5.Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC):** Preventing the use of chemical and biological weapons. **6.Indian Parliament:** Election reforms with special emphasis on political parties Under the purview of RTI and managing campaign financing. **7.UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR):** Refugee crises in Europe.
