I’m a (17) year old student currently studying A-level Chemistry, Biology and Spanish, hoping to pursue a career in Medicine. I am very pleased to be involved in the first Cambridge MUN as the Deputy Chair of the Human Rights Committee and hope to gain insight into many different inspiring political opinions in this time of unfortunate instability. I look forward to delving deeper into some if the key human rights issues that are being jeopardised or even, lack crucial development, to further educate young people on their surroundings. I have always had an interest in Human Rights especially when addressing the fundamental lack of equal rights for certain minorities and eagerly await hearing debates surrounding LGBTQ+ rights, indigenous rights, universal access to healthcare and the freedom of journalists.
