Dear members of harvard mun: My name is Edward Ger. I come from Republic of China(Taiwan). This year is my fresh year in university.I am glad that I can participate in harvard mun in this year.And I'm going to introduce some details about me to you.Let's start from high school: When I was in high school, I was selected as leader of the student association of investment and finance club. I was also elected as leader of school basketball team. I spent a lot of time on playing basketball and competed against other schools. As leader of these student associations, I have learned a great deal of leadership skills and knowledge from these experience, such as communication, persuasion, cooperation and self-discipline. In university, I plan to learn something more, particularly something which can broaden my vision and make me more international-oriented. This is the reason why I want to join mun in university, which is more academic and international-oriented. Just like my teacher told me that " be competitive, and try more things that I have not done before, cultivating connections with other people, be positive, do something for society, that's what I want to do and the person I want to become." I deeply believe that mun can help me to achieve these goals.
