Yuvkatha Youth Parliament 2026 — Regional Round

14–15 November 2026 | Pune, Maharashtra, India

Yuvkatha Youth Parliament 2026 is a two-day parliamentary simulation designed to engage students in India’s political processes, public policy discussions, and democratic decision-making. Bringing together students from Classes 9–12, the conference provides a structured platform to examine national challenges, articulate policy positions, and engage in informed parliamentary debate.

The Regional Round will centre on the agenda “Bridging Regional Economic Disparities for Balanced National Development.” Delegates will explore the economic and developmental inequalities across regions of India, examining policy approaches that can promote more equitable and balanced growth.

The simulation features two parliamentary sides: the Ruling Side and the Opposition. Through leadership position pitching, opening statements, structured debates, questioning, and policy scrutiny, participants will experience the responsibilities of governance and opposition within a parliamentary setting.

Beyond the proceedings, Yuvkatha Youth Parliament reflects Yuvkatha’s broader commitment to political awareness, youth participation, and social welfare. The conference aims to encourage critical thinking, public speaking, policy analysis, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of democratic institutions among young people.

Yuvkatha Youth Parliament offers students an opportunity to move beyond observing public affairs and actively engage with the ideas, debates, and decisions that shape the nation’s future.
