YMUN Brasil 2026

Yale Model United Nations Brasil (YMUNB) is the first of the Brasil-based Yale International Relations Association Conference series. Built upon more than fifty years of YMUN tradition, YMUNB brings together hundreds of high school students from across Brazil and around the world to engage in rigorous debate, cultural exchange, and global leadership development.

This year, the conference will be held in the historic city of Brasília, Distrito Federal, Brazil, from August 14 - 16th, 2026.

Held in Brasília, the diplomatic heart of Latin America, YMUNB combines the academic excellence of Yale with Brazil’s spirit of dialogue and diversity. Over three days, delegates take on the roles of world leaders, diplomats, and advocates, tackling the most pressing challenges of our time, from peace and security to climate justice and technological governance.

Beyond committee sessions, YMUNB offers lectures from renowned speakers, leadership workshops, and interactive cultural activities designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and change makers.

At its core, YMUNB is more than a conference: it is a movement for education, diplomacy, and understanding. By connecting the traditions of Yale with the promise of Brazil, we aim to build a platform where young leaders learn not only how to speak, but how to listen, imagine, and act for a better world.
