Different Dreams - A Global Perspective ("이몽" 異夢)

YMUN (Yonsei Model United Nations) is a Model United Nations (MUN) conference held for middle and high school students, supervised under YDMUN members who attend Yonsei University and have international experience regarding MUN. During the past decade, YMUN has strived to make the highest quality conference available for students in Korea and has established its status as Korea’s most prestigious and popular MUN conference. Since the COVID-19 era, the YMUN Secretariat has been working on both facilitating an online conference environment and recovering an offline conference environment.

In YMUN, participants become chief representatives of a United Nations Committee member nation and discuss the agendas with other delegates, draft resolutions and amend, pass or reject them at the UN Committee of their choice. The entire process of YMUN is carried out in accordance with the UN conference procedures. YMUN addresses global issues in social, economic, political and educational aspects, and allows students to ponder upon and analyze multilateral aspects of diverse issues. Exchanging opinions and sharing ideas among peers will allow students to improve their cooperation and communication skills.
