Rising Voices: Youth Leadership for Sustainable Change
The Youth Ambassadors in Diplomacy and MUN LBG, in partnership with the Agonaman Executive Club, is proud to present a landmark Model United Nations conference in Ghana under the theme “Rising Voices: Youth Leadership for Sustainable Change.” The conference will bring together students from Swedru Senior High School, Kwanyako Senior High School, Swedru School of Business, and other secondary schools across the Central Region, fostering a platform for young people to engage critically with pressing issues affecting Africa and the wider global community.
The conference will be held at the Assembly Hall of Swedru Senior High School (SWESCO), the first secondary school established by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, a symbol of vision, leadership, and the pursuit of knowledge. Delegates will have the unique opportunity to interact with high-level officials and distinguished speakers, gaining insights into diplomacy, governance, and leadership.
Through debates, committee discussions, and the drafting of resolutions, participants will develop critical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills while addressing real-world challenges that impact young people. The theme “Rising Voices: Youth Leadership for Sustainable Change” emphasizes the transformative role of youth in shaping policies, driving sustainable development, and fostering social and economic progress.
This conference aims not only to educate but also to inspire the next generation of leaders to act with responsibility, innovation, and vision. By equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to participate in leadership roles, this event will contribute meaningfully to building a cadre of informed, proactive, and solution-oriented youth leaders who can influence positive change in Ghana, across Africa, and beyond
