Today Youth Tomorrow Leaders

The India YouthAid MUN is a youth-led diplomatic conference that empowers future leaders to discuss and design solutions for global challenges under the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year’s edition focuses on SDG 16 — Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, through a high-level simulation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

With only 15–20 selected delegates, this MUN ensures in-depth debate, realistic diplomacy, and impactful outcomes. Delegates will represent nations from across the world and negotiate resolutions to strengthen international peace and security in times of crisis

    About the committee

    The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is the premier body responsible for maintaining international peace and security. It plays a critical role in addressing global conflicts, authorizing peacekeeping missions, imposing sanctions, and facilitating diplomatic solutions to crises worldwide. Comprising 15 members — 5 permanent (United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, China) and 10 rotating member states — the UNSC debates pressing international issues, negotiates resolutions, and upholds the principles of the United Nations Charter. Delegates in this committee will: Represent their assigned countries’ policies and positions Engage in formal and informal debates on conflicts, sanctions, and peacekeeping operations Collaborate to draft and pass resolutions addressing global security challenges Develop leadership, negotiation, and diplomacy skills through interactive simulations This simulation provides a realistic, high-level diplomatic experience for 15–20 delegates, ensuring focused debates and meaningful resolutions. Participants will experience firsthand how international decisions are made in one of the most influential UN bodies, while promoting cooperation, dialogue, and global peace.
