About

Every issue has an unknown. Find it.

Each issue starts with something we do not yet know.
Find it.

After the first conference went well, xMUNC aims higher. Now, we want a setting where varied viewpoints count. Where one decision can tip the balance. Where small changes can shift what happens next.
We want you to question what you assumed was true. You will address major topics. You will work toward answers through discussion, diplomacy, and teamwork. The “x” points to what can move a debate, which we've identified as a variable. It consists of the people in the room, the ideas they carry and the calls they choose to make. Two committees will not play out the same way, because the mix keeps changing.
At xMUNC, you do not only stand in for a state. You handle the parts you cannot predict. You talk through disagreements. You test beliefs. You help steer the room.
