WINMUN II 2025

WinMUN is proud to host our second FREE online conference. Held online monthly, these conferences give delegates anywhere around the world a chance to compete and hone there skills in crisis and GA. WINMUN II will have two GA committees to allow delegates to learn the skills required to succeed at a regional and international level.

📄Certification: All delegates can receive official certificates of participation upon request, in addition to any awards received📄

🎓In addition, if you need a position paper graded, speech proof, or written performance feedback for a class feel free to let us know (at least a couple days in advance) and we will be happy to provide it 🎓

THE CSW COMMITTEE WILL BE ONLY ON SATURDAY

• Opening Ceremony: 11:30 PM
• Session 1: 12:00 PM
• Session 2: 1:15 PM
• Session 3: 2:30 PM
• Session 4: 3:45 PM
• Session 5: 4:00 PM
• Closing Ceremony: 5:30 PM

SUNDAY JULY 20th

THE UNSC WILL BE HELD ONLY ON SUNDAY

• Opening Ceremony: 11:30 PM
• Session 1: 12:00 PM
• Session 2: 1:15 PM
• Session 3: 2:30 PM
• Session 4: 3:45 PM
• Session 5: 4:00 PM
• Closing Ceremony: 5:30 PM

Format: 

GA: This competition will operate in a traditional sense, with moderated and unmoderated caucuses. The overall goal will be to write and pass resolutions. We will follow UNA-USA procedure.

• This simulation will also consist of five 1-hour rounds with a crisis update at the middle and beginning of each session

💻Location: Online on a Zoom Conferencing Call 💻

Communication: We will send out background guides and position confirmation through the WinMUN WhatsApp group. If you are unable to access WhatsApp, we will work with you to find an alternative means of communication. Please complete the application process and answer all questions to receive an invitation to our WhatsApp.

Committees: This conference will offer two GA Committees

Saturday July 19th

📝Position Papers: Optional and are due on July 19th for consideration for the best position paper award.

Applications: All delegates/delegations are expected to fill out an application and provide a method of communication. Expect an acceptance within 24-72 hours after submitting. If you don't get accepted within this time frame, feel free to reach out to us.

🏆Awards: the top 5 delegates placing within the chamber will be officially recognized as follows:

• Best Delegate (1 delegate; 1st place)
• Outstanding Delegate (1 delegate; 2nd place)
• Honorable Delegate (1 delegate; 3rd place)
• Verbal Commendations (2 delegates; 4th and 5th places)
• Best position paper (the delegate who wins this WILL be eligible for other awards too)

Note: The number of awards given may fluctuate on conference day based on attendance, but will not stray from the proportion of ¼ of the committee getting recognized.
