WIMUN 2015

WFUNA International Model UN is organized by the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA). Our conference aims to provide students and educators with the most realistic simulation of the United Nations by utilizing proper and accurate UN Rules of Procedures.

The inaugural conference took place in Rome, Italy in July 2014 in collaboration with the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI-UNA Italy). The 5-day program took place entirely within UN venues at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Headquarters in Rome and featured an intensive Model UN Workshop with UN staff and education experts. Program components included United Nations briefing, Rules of Procedure training, document writing, consensus building, and issue briefing.

WIMUN 2015 will take place at the United Nations Headquarters and Grand Hyatt New York.
