It's been four years since the world forgot Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Peter went one step further, quietly erasing himself from the lives of everyone he loves. On purpose. No MJ. No Ned. No Aunt May. The city has no idea what he’s given up to protect it. In that hollow shell of an apartment, he sat entirely alone—just a boy and a mask. Four years of absolute isolation were doing something to him that New York might not be ready for. Something is slipping. Something lethal. The city doesn’t stop to notice it, because it's got its own problems. A crime boss is quietly building an empire in the shadows, deliberately staying off everyone’s radar. A government agency called Damage Control is expanding its grip on anyone with powers, monitored, catalogued, and controlled. A vengeance-obsessed villain has one name on his list. A vigilante with a very different definition of justice is operating completely outside the law. And somewhere underneath it all, a silent threat is festering—one the world won’t see until it's far too late. Nobody is innocent…including you. You’re the people who decide what happens next—the ones with the leverage, the secrets, the motives to make New York City’s next chapter their own.

    Topic

Addressing the Weaponization of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Warfare, with Special Emphasis on Autonomous Weapons Systems and Military Accountability.

    About the committee

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, addresses issues concerning disarmament, international security, and emerging threats to global peace. In this session, delegates will confront one of the defining challenges of modern warfare: the weaponization of Artificial Intelligence. As autonomous weapons systems become increasingly sophisticated, the international community faces difficult questions surrounding human control, military accountability, technological competition, and the regulation of AI-driven warfare. Delegates will be challenged to balance national security and technological advancement with the need for meaningful international safeguards and accountability.
